The Must Visit Metropolitan Areas in the USA

If you like to travel and are American, chances are you've done your fair share of seeing the states. If you have not, however, you should consider taking a trip around this great country of ours next time you are planning a vacation for you or your family.

The following are some must visit cities in the United States of America.

Any list of American cities has to include New York City, so let's just get it out of the way now. Everyone already knows that New York is one of the best cities to visit in the world (as long as you don't care about weather) and if you have never been, you must.

Let's start out with Sin City, or as it is more commonly known, Las Vegas. Las Vegas has got it all, and if you do not have children accompanying you on your trip, should be at the top of your must visit destinations. Even if you do have kids, Vegas is still a great place to visit.

Up in the Pacific Northwest is the great city of Seattle, Washington. Home to both Starbucks and Microsoft, Seattle gets a bad rap for raining so much, but it is truly a beautiful place and if you like the outdoors, a great place to visit.

One city that I feel the need to quickly mention is Nashville. If you are a fan of country music or great southern style barbeque, then Nashville is a great destination for you.

Another great city that is a must visit for any fan of food is San Francisco. The Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and its close proximity to Napa Valley make San Francisco a great destination for any family.

Another charming city for anyone looking for a nice quaint vacation is Charleston, South Carolina. I can't even begin to describe how lovely this town is, and if you find yourself in the South it makes for a great time.
