Boston - The Beautiful and Magnificent

Boston is the capital of Massachusetts, and one of the oldest cities in USA. If you have the opportunity to visit Boston during the summer, you are in for a treat as there is so much for you to do.

The Boston Common Frog Pond is a wonderful place for you to visit. It provides everyone with the chance to learn how to ice skate during the winter and to experience yoga classes during the summer.Yoga takes place in the morning at the Reflecting Pool every Thursday and is suitable for people of all ages. What's more is that classes are free and there is no need for you to book.

The Strand Theater is a beautiful building that is used as a resource for artists and audiences alike. Built in 1918 as a movie theater and vaudeville house, it had to shut down due to disrepair in the sixties, but in 1979 the theater opened its doors once more and is a great asset to the local community. Have a look online at the events and schedule available and see if there is a performance or an event for you that you wish to be a part of; the theater is also very proud of its ongoing youth work.

Take a visit to the Greenway Open Market which is a weekly event and hosts open-air arts and crafts that have often been hand-made. Every Saturday this market can be found throughout the Wharf District Parks on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, with up to 60 vendors you will be sure to find something you love. Feel like browsing rather than buying? You can enjoy a nice gentle walk as you make your way through the Greenway and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the market, as in all markets around the world. Take a look at the jewelry, metal work, paintings, photography, ceramics and so much more. If it's a particularly hot day, you can sit by the Rings Fountain before taking a gentle stroll down the tree-lined promenade. The market vendors will surprise you with some lovely and original work.Come visit the Greenway Open Market and see how original it is.
